A Six-Week Immersive Coaching Experience

Safe toReceive

Learn to receive love, rest, support, and the goodness already present in your life.

Enrollment opens soon  ·  Limited spots

I’m Ready to Receive

You love your life. You know you are blessed. But you are so busy holding it all together that you rarely get to exhale inside of it.

Even in the moments you prayed for, part of you is still scanning for what needs handling next.

When feeling safe depends on being capable, needed, and in control, receiving stops feeling natural. It feels vulnerable. And seeing the pattern has not been enough to change it.

Safe to Receive isthe room for you.

Over six weeks, you will release the beliefs that keep you over-functioning and carrying more than was ever yours, so you can finally receive the love, support, rest, and joy already in your life.

Let me tell you what is true

Let me tell you what I believe is true for you, and you can tell me if I’m wrong…

You are the woman people call when something needs handling. You solve it, steady the room, and keep moving. People admire your strength. But sometimes you wonder if anyone knows how to care for you when you are not being strong.

Your life looks full and beautiful, and it is. You love your people. You are grateful. But gratitude has quietly become the reason you should not want more, or admit that something in you still feels unsettled.

Your mind stays one step ahead. Tomorrow’s plan while making dinner. Someone else’s problem during the conversation in front of you.

You say you want help. But when someone does it differently, you step back in. Carrying it all feels easier than explaining, waiting, or risking disappointment.

You want to rest. But first the kitchen, the messages, the plan, and everyone settled. By the time you have earned the right to stop, you are too tired to enjoy it.

You know what everyone else needs instantly. Ask what you want, and you hesitate.

Someone’s disappointment feels almost unbearable. So you overexplain, soften, and say yes when you mean no. Losing connection feels more dangerous than losing yourself.

You have prayed, journaled, read the books, done the work. You understand your patterns. And you still repeat them in the moments that matter.

You are not falling apart. You are functioning beautifully. But functioning beautifully and fully living are not the same thing.

You’re Speaking Right to Me
Lori planning

This used to be me

This used to beme.

I believed a good life was almost mathematical. If something was not working, I simply had not figured it out yet. And because I was capable, there was always one more thing to try.

From the outside, it looked healthy. Taking responsibility. Working on my marriage. Counseling, praying, learning, growing. All beautiful things.

But without realizing it, I was asking those beautiful things for something they could never give me: certainty.

My equation was simple and impossible. When everything around me is okay, then I can be okay.

So when something was not okay, I did not feel it. I went to work.

I called it commitment when I was abandoning myself to keep someone comfortable. I called it wisdom when I was controlling every outcome. I called it gratitude when I was afraid to say what I wanted.

And because I was still handling everything, the cost was easy to miss.

Until I realized I did not need to become less strong.

I needed to stop using my strength to protect me from ever having to need, trust, wait, or receive.

Your safety & your burden

Capability has become both your safety and your burden.

High-functioning women do not always look overwhelmed. Sometimes overwhelm looks like never sitting down long enough to feel what is true.

  • Sometimes fear looks like preparation.
  • Sometimes control looks like excellence.
  • Sometimes self-abandonment looks like love.
  • Sometimes earning looks like faithfulness.

Your capability may be how you steady your world. If you can anticipate it, manage it, fix it, or plan for it, you feel okay again.

But what once kept you safe may now be keeping you from the intimacy, support, and peace you want.

Receiving asks something different of you.

  • To trust without controlling every detail.
  • To tell the truth before you know how everyone will respond.
  • To let someone contribute without supervising how.
  • To enjoy a good moment without preparing for its end.
  • To stay connected to yourself even when someone you love is disappointed.
  • To believe what you need matters before you have earned it.

I’m Ready for a Different Way
Lori working

Not a tradeoff

Receivingis not a tradeoff.

When you learn to receive, your strength does not leave. What leaves is the fear, pressure, and proving that have been driving it.

You do not want a smaller life. You do not want to care less, lower your standards, or wait for someone else to make you happy.

  • You want to love your people without carrying their every emotion.
  • You want to achieve without earning rest through exhaustion.
  • You want to give without giving past honesty.
  • You want support without dependence.
  • You want more without making your present life wrong.
  • You want to trust God without using spiritual language to silence what He may be awakening in you.

This is not about needing less from life. It is about receiving more of the life you already have.

Softness is not weakness. Support is not incapability. Desire is not ingratitude. Boundaries are not unloving. And letting someone be disappointed is not failing them.

You can be strong and supported.Grateful and desiring.Loving and honest.Faithful and fully alive.

I’ve Been Waiting for This

The invitation

Receiving is part ofyour power.

The shift

After Safe to Receive,you’ll…

  • Feel present in the life you built, instead of scanning for what needs managing next.
  • Know what you want without judging it, shrinking it, or spiritualizing it away.
  • Ask for what you need without overexplaining, apologizing, or rehearsing it for days.
  • Let the people you love have their own feelings without making them mean you did something wrong.
  • Rest as part of a good life, not as a reward for finishing everything.
  • Receive help without correcting, supervising, or quietly taking it back.
  • Enjoy a good season without watching for what could take it away.
  • Know the difference between love and over-responsibility, wisdom and control, gratitude and suppression.
  • Make decisions from desire, truth, and faith, not guilt, fear, or obligation.
  • Let the people closest to you know the real you, not only the capable, agreeable version.
  • Feel peace within yourself even while a question, relationship, or circumstance is still unresolved.
  • Become available for love, support, joy, and immeasurably more, without earning it first.

Awareness vs. change

Awarenessis not transformation.

You may already be deeply self-aware. You can name the pattern, trace where it began, and explain why you over-function and why control brings relief.

And you still do the same thing when the moment gets emotionally charged.

Because information alone does not create a new response.

You do not need another list to remember in a hard conversation. You do not need seventeen new habits that turn healing into another performance. You do not need more proof that you are the problem.

You need a place to notice what is happening in real time, tell the truth without judgment, get coached through the exact moments where you leave yourself, and practice a new response until it is yours.

Knowing you people-please is awareness.

Letting someone be disappointed without changing your answer is change.

Knowing you struggle to receive help is awareness.

Letting someone contribute without taking over is change.

Knowing you have desires is awareness.

Naming them and letting them shape your choices is change.

Knowing uncertainty makes you anxious is awareness.

Trusting yourself while the outcome is unknown is change.

Safe to Receive is where you move from understanding the pattern to living a new one.

This Is the Work I’ve Been Missing

The offer

Safe to Receive

Safe to Receive is a six-week immersive coaching experience for the high-capacity woman of faith who is ready to stop living as if everything depends on her.

Let me be clear. This is not about losing your strength, standards, generosity, or desire for a beautiful life.

It is about changing where they come from.

  • Strength rooted in self-trust, not fear.
  • Generosity chosen from love, not guilt.
  • Responsibility held with trust, not used to force certainty.
  • Gratitude wide enough to include desire.
  • Connection built on honesty, not self-abandonment.

Over six weeks, we uncover the beliefs shaping how you love, give, decide, rest, and receive. You will see the exact moments you override yourself to feel safe, and practice staying with yourself instead.

This is not a content-heavy course you race through or fall behind in. It is intimate coaching that meets you inside your real life. Your marriage. Your calendar. Your decisions. The support you struggle to accept. The conversation you keep avoiding. The good thing happening right now that you are afraid to trust.

What will change

What will change insideSafe to Receive

  • You stop waiting for everything around you to be okay before you let yourself be okay.
  • You create safety within yourself, instead of needing someone else’s approval or follow-through to provide it.
  • You stop treating every desire like a problem to justify. You let yourself want what you want.
  • You stop saying yes because no might disappoint someone. Your yes becomes honest. Your no becomes clean. Your relationships grow closer because you are actually in them.
  • You stop measuring your goodness by how little you need. You let support reach you, and let people love you in their own way.
  • You notice when caring has become carrying. You love people without owning their choices, emotions, or outcomes.
  • You stop postponing peace until the relationship is repaired, the decision is made, or the next uncertain thing resolves.
  • You become available for joy, because a good moment is no longer the calm before the storm.
  • You recover the parts of you that went quiet under responsibility: your preferences, creativity, playfulness, and longings.
  • You stop relating to God as if faithfulness means needing nothing. Grace becomes something you receive, not only something you give.
  • You build a life that is not just impressive and well managed, but one you are fully here to live.

Who this is for

Is this room yours?

Safe to Receive is for you if…

  • You are a high-capacity woman who has done things “right” and is tired of always being the strong one.
  • You love your life, but you are not as present in it as you want to be.
  • You can hold big things, but you are done proving your worth by carrying everything alone.
  • You find it easier to give care and support than to receive it.
  • You want to know who you are outside of what everyone needs from you.
  • You are ready to name your desires without calling them selfish or ungrateful.
  • You understand your patterns but want support living differently when they take over.
  • You want a faith-rooted experience that honors both God’s leadership and your own agency.
  • You are ready to show up honestly, receive coaching, and practice something new in real life.

Safe to Receive is not for you if…

  • You want someone else to make your decisions, guarantee your outcomes, or be your source of safety.
  • You want more information, not an honest look at how these patterns show up in your life today.
  • You want to use “boundaries” to control others instead of taking responsibility for yourself.
  • You are committed to keeping everyone comfortable, and not yet willing to feel the discomfort change brings.
  • You want to be told exactly what to do, without building self-trust and discernment.
  • You need individualized clinical mental-health treatment rather than coaching.

This room is not about being good enough, healed enough, or spiritually mature enough to belong. It is about being willing to tell the truth, stay curious, receive support, and practice becoming the woman you already sense you are.

I Need This

Lori J. Smith

Meet Lori

Hi, I’m LoriJ. Smith.

I’m a faith + life and relationship coach, and I help women create lives and relationships that feel as beautiful on the inside as they may already look from the outside.

My work is for the woman who has built a full life, loves her people deeply, and is beginning to realize that being able to carry everything does not mean she was created to.

I know the temptation to believe that if you become wise enough, healthy enough, or faithful enough, you can finally rest. And I know what it costs to make your peace depend on everything around you being okay.

My coaching brings faith and agency together. We make room for God’s grace, truth, and leadership, while honoring your responsibility to know yourself, tell the truth, and make aligned choices.

I do not believe you need to become less powerful to receive. Receiving is part of your power.

I do not believe desire means you are dissatisfied with God’s goodness. Desire can show you where life is still inviting you to awaken.

I do not believe healthy relationships require you to keep abandoning yourself. The deepest connection comes when you are willing to be fully known.

Safe to Receive brings all of this together in one intimate six-week experience, so the woman who spent years building a beautiful life can finally be present enough to live it.

Sound familiar?

Do any of thesesound familiar?

  • You are hyper-independent, proud of how much you can handle, and privately exhausted that everyone assumes you always can.
  • You want your husband, family, or team to take more initiative, but struggle not to correct or take back control when they do.
  • You keep picturing a finish line where everything is settled and you finally get to enjoy your life. It keeps moving.
  • You feel unsettled when someone is unhappy with you, even when you know their feelings are not yours to fix.
  • You are in a new season, quietly asking, “Who am I now?” and “What do I actually want?”
  • You feel safer with a plan, and anxious or controlling when someone else’s choices threaten it.
  • You say you want support, but receiving it feels slower, messier, and more vulnerable than doing it yourself.
  • You have delayed a decision, conversation, boundary, or dream because you cannot guarantee how it will affect the people you love.
  • You are tired of being told to surrender, let go, or trust more, when no one has shown you how without disappearing from your own life.
  • You know there is more available. Not more achievement. More peace, connection, support, joy, and aliveness.

Why nothing has changed yet

Your insight has not created the full shift you want. That is not because you failed at personal growth.

You have been using better thoughts to override a pattern that feels protective in the moment.

  • You know you do not have to fix everyone’s feelings. But when someone is disappointed, restoring connection still feels urgent.
  • You know you deserve rest. But unfinished work still keeps you going.
  • You know you can ask for help. But depending on someone still feels risky.
  • You know you are allowed to want more. But wanting can still feel like criticism of the life you have.

This is why Safe to Receive is built on teaching, coaching, reflection, and practice. Not information alone.

Together, we slow down the moments that usually happen on autopilot. We find the belief beneath the response, and build a new way for you to stay with yourself.

You will not get a perfect script for every situation. You will become the woman who trusts herself to meet it.

You will not learn how to keep everyone from ever being disappointed. You will learn to stay loving, honest, and grounded when they are.

You will not eliminate uncertainty. You will stop requiring certainty before you let yourself live.

Finally Feel Present in Your Life

About the experience

About Safe to Receive

Safe to Receive is a six-week intensive cohort created for women with full lives.

Focused enough to build momentum. Spacious enough to let the work settle without becoming another impossible standard.

You do not need to consume hours of content, complete perfect homework, or keep up with every conversation to get real value.

Each week gives you one clear focus. Two concise teachings show you the pattern and why it matters. Coaching brings the work into your real decisions, conversations, and relationships. A weekly practice guide helps you apply it without overwhelm.

Over six weeks, those guides become your complete Safe to Receive workbook. You also get lifetime access to the teachings, replays, and materials.

The experience moves through the Safe to Receive Method:

01

She Awakens

You notice what has become automatic. You reconnect with desire and tell the truth about what you want, without guilt.

02

She Knows

You separate who you are from who you learned to be. You build self-trust and learn to belong to yourself while loving others.

03

She Aligns

You make choices from what you know, not from fear, guilt, approval, urgency, or obligation.

04

She Lives

You practice receiving support, rest, love, joy, and the life in front of you as your new way of being.

This is not about becoming a perfectly peaceful version of yourself. It is about becoming a woman who knows how to return to herself when real life happens.
